Santa Claus is coming?

We hope everyone's Christmas is fantastic. I'm excited for Santa to come...and go! Isie has a little tint of green to her skin. We found she is a tad greedy this year. She told me today she wants seventy-five hundred, sixty-nine thousand, hundred fifty toys for Christmas. I don't know how much that is, but it sure sounds like a lot! It's really ironic too, cause she is terrified of Santa. She loves and fears him. She draws him pictures and talks about him all day, but she has to cover her eyes when we walk past him at the mall. She prays every night that she won't be naughty so he will come, but she won't sit on his lap to tell him what she wants. It's one of the few long-distance relationships that works.

She is excited to give too though (she couldn't wait to tell me what Anton got me - literally). And we have about three hundred homemade gifts in and around our tree. So maybe it sort of balances the scale. She loves to sing "Away in a Manger" and "Silent Night" every night before bed, so hopefully she somewhat grasps the true meaning of Christmas. We love her.

Oh--and in reply to your question--I did take that picture on my blog. It was one of my rare artistic moments. :P

How cute. We hope you guys have a great Holiday. Chritmas is so fun for kids, and for parents with young kids. It's great to share their excitement!

We love Isie! (Is that how you spell it?) We are so naughty, I can't believe we haven't seen your house yet! We're gonna have to invite ourselves over sometime!

Hey--

This is kind of random, but I know that you had asked if I had a blog before. I started a blog late in January. Here's the address, in case you ever want to check it out:

Congrats on the new house and puppy! Sounds like you guys must be busy.
Ethan's been talking about our "little house" and his friend, Isie. I'll have to send another of Ethan's letters to her soon.
Take care.
